Olympic Torch Relay In Victoria

Olympic torch relayThis Friday, October 30, 2009, is the start of the Olympic season in Canada. The Olympic Torch arrives in Victoria BC Friday morning, and will travel through Victoria, Esquimalt, View Royal, Sidney, North Saanich, Central Saanich, Saanich and Oak Bay, before returning to Victoria for the evening celebration. At 5:30 pm, the city of Victoria will light up in a grand spectacle that you simply don’t want to miss.

Join the celebration of the Olympic Torch Relay in Victoria BC. This small, beautiful city will come alive with a multicultural, multidisciplinary spectacle. The best artists, performers and musicians in Victoria will be on hand to celebrate the passing of the torch.
